DuPage Children's Museum is the place where learning comes in to play!  The Museum's mission is to stimulate curiosity, creativity, thinking and problem solving in young children through self-directed, open-ended experiences, the integration of the arts, science and math and the child-adult learning partnership.

  DuPage Children's Museum is a top Chicago-area cultural attraction that provides a playful, fun environment designed to help kids learn how to succeed.  Exhibits and programs encourage children from six months to 10 years old to explore, question and solve problems in math, science and the arts in partnership with adults.  More than 150 innovative activities invite children to splash, construct, build, create and play in six lively learning neighborhoods including Build It, AirWorks, Make It Move, Creativity Connections, Math Connections, and Waterways.  Children from six months to 24 months can disover three different Young Explorers areas.  The Good Show Gallery and the Interact with Art Gallery offer interactive ways to introduce children to the colorful, creative, inspirational world of art while daily Studio Drop-In activities allow children to create their own take-home works of art, science and math.

  The Museum welcomes more than 330,000 visitors annually, including 40,000 students in 30+ public school districts, parochial and private schools in five counties with math- and science-focused in-school Learning Labs, Learning Lab Field Trips and Museum Field Trips.  Through the Community Access Network, the Museum provides outreach through 82 partnerships among 55 social service agencies with the goal of meeting the intellectual and developmental needs within the community for all children regardless of physical, social or economic barriers.
