Each year Family Bridges changes the lives of thousands of Chicagoland families, restoring hope by providing them with a new vision for their family and the skills they need to make it happen. In 2006, fifteen organizations serving low-resource communities came together and started the Family Bridges program. Through the in-depth educational workshops offered for teens, couples, and singles, Family Bridges teaches families the value of marriage and healthy relationships.Since its inception, Family Bridges has grown exponentially with 20 partner organizations now providing fun no- or low-cost healthy relationship workshops in English and Spanish daily in collaboration with 500+ host sites, such as churches, schools, libraries, and community organizations, across the entire northeastern Illinois region. In all, over 45,000 people have participated in Family Bridges’ programs since 2006. With your support, Family Bridges will transform communities by empowering families.
