Ferocious Fighters is a non-profit organization dreamed up by Patrick B when he was 9 years old.  As an inpatient at Children's Hospital Denver and due to a great support system, Patrick enjoyed numerous gifts and visits from friends and family during his stay in the hospital.  However, it was clear to Patrick that other patients weren't in the same position.

As Patrick got to know other kids with CRPS/RSD through the kids group he started on Google Plus, he found that many of them had to spend an extended amount of time in the hospital and many of their parents were unable to stay with them.  When members of this kids group would head to inpatient or extended therapy programs away from home, Patrick wanted them to receive something to let them know that they weren't alone through this experience and he began saving his money to purchase small gifts for kids who were in the hospital, kids that he had never met at all, or kids he knew only virtually through the Google group.

While Patrick has been incredibly lucky and blessed to find something that is working well enough to allow him to live his life, he remains very aware that other kids have not had the same experience. At 11, Patrick decided he wanted to take his project to the next level and started Ferocious Fighters to provide care packages to any and all kids he can. 

During this first year, Ferocious Fighters has sent out 57 care packages and has 50 more kids on the waiting list.  Ferocious Fighters has reached and had an impact on kids in four countries and grows each and every day!
