I am writing to you today to ask you kindly for a Donation or Gift Certificate for a Fundraiser and Raffle. I am asking for this today for my Handicapped Daughter Jacklynn, Whom I must tell you is an absolutely Beautiful Angel. You see, Jacklynn Marie is 8 years old However, Mentally and Physically she functions as a 3-4 month old baby. Jacklynn has 18 total diagnosis which includes Cerebral Palsy and Severe Autism just to name the most heard of. It's so hard to watch your child and Wonder "What is she thinking about"? Wondering if she knows "She is missing out" when she should be playing with her friends. Last week, We were given some devastating news, Our Jacklynn isn't getting any better or Showing any signs of Improvement for that matter. We were also told that her LifeSpan will be cut short, very short. Next, Siskin Institute made the Suggestion that they would put her into a Mental Institution if it were them, to make it easier for us. After telling them that No, Absolutely not she is our Daughter they said Well, We understand. Here's what you have to do in order to keep her...(also mentioning we were told Jacklynn has the worst case of Cerebral Palsy they had ever seen.) As a parent you want to be there to watch them Grow and Eventually see them have a family of their own, But, in our case we want to always be with our girl to help her live, to do the things she cannot do for herself. So, I need your help, Im begging quite honestly, My girl is desperately in need of a Handicap Accessible Bedroom to be built onto our home. Unfortunately, This isn't something were able to handle financially as we have 5 other children to care for as well. My family and I haven't ever had to ask for help from anyone before, but right now We need it more than I could explain.. Jacklynn requires 24/7 care so my husband And I rotate between whose turn it is to watch her. Taking care of her really is a full time job. Not to mention, It forced my husband and I to have to sleep on our couch temporarily until the room is finished for her. She tends to scream several hours during the day uncontrollably, which they say is aggravation from not being able to speak, but its hard on my other children to hear daily. We have Someone willing to do all the building on the bedroom completely Pro Bono---- All required from us is all Building Materials which is still not something that we can financially do ourselves.
