We provide 14 programs for individuals between the ages of 16 and late 80 who have developmental, physical, emotional disabilities and/or mental illness at three sites in the Chicago area. We also have 10 residential homes, a community employment division and a thrift store in which they can receive on the job training before going out into the community for a job. We recently also opened a community counseling center for those in the southland who cannot afford private counseling and wellness sessions. We serve over 625 individuals, most from the lowest economic rungs. We have sheltered workshops, special services for those on the Autism spectrum, and a program for older adults who want to feel like they are in a retirement setting, enjoying their later years.
