We are taking the passion executive chefs have for teaching and the love of culinary with adults with disabilities and combining the two.  We are going to have professional chefs mentor adults in the everyday skill of the culinary world.  We will also have them be trained for professional culinary competition, where they will have the oppertunity to shine..  Other nonprofits market working with individuals with learning disablilites but no one works on this level  with professional chefs teaching the art of culinary.  

Cooking has become an extremely common household practice with the introduction of Food TV, numerous shows relating to many avenues of the food industry and recipes all through the internet; with this awareness of the field of culinary the passion has grown in all of us.  Everyone must remember disabilities is a label which is convenient for certain purposes, but people with disabilities are always people first.  Don’t you think it is time that we give them the opportunity to grow their passion?
