At Spectrolite Independent Inc. we keep children, teens, and young adults active by allowing them the freedom to express themselves as an individual all while teaching them to work as one unit. By teaching the youth of our community the art of winter guard, they are also learning about music, movement, culture, and art. They will learn how to work well with others and good sportsmanship skills as they travel and compete against rivaling winter guard groups. Our goal is to make our program as affordable as possible so we do not have to turn away talented performers because of their families' income levels. We want to spread the art and culture that is winter guard throughout the community. Our performers will not only learn routines for competition and performance, but during the off-season will be asked to participate in community outreach activities to enhance their local community.
