MISSION STATEMENTThe Bloomingdale School District 13 Education Foundation is a non-profit, independent tax-exempt corporation, founded in 1998, to provide special opportunities and experiences for the children and staff of our district. Based on the current economic climate within the State of IL and our projected long-term needs, the community cannot rely solely on traditional funding to ensure quality public education.  The Bloomingdale Education Foundation is developing and launching short and long-term plan to assist in supporting our educators and District 13 projects. The goals of the plans are to help raise and channel donations for creative and innovative endeavors that will benefit our students.o    To break ground on the DuJardin School Park Renovation Project in 2011 which will provide ADA accessible equipment and playground surfacing.o    To support and fund educational excellence in core academic areas, the arts and humanities, sciences and technology.o    To provide funding for tools and programs which meet unique needs.o    To provide resources that facilitate academic and skill development at all grade levels (Pre-K-8) with all children.
