Daughters of Ayacucho Educational Fund (DAEF) is a charity organized to fund university scholarships for impoverished girls in Ayacucho, Peru.

From a girl’s orphanage where the majority leave and become involved in the drug trade, prostitution, or early motherhood, we have fifteen dedicated young women actively pursuing their career and educational goals.  

All the girls face the challenges of living without family support that many take for granted.  Now, the entire group and educational counselor have become a key support system to celebrate progress and help each other during difficult times.  Each girl relies on the others, and is happy to offer encouragement and advice to others in times of need.
