Family Counseling has been serving Aurora and the surrounding communities since 1925. Our core programs of Behavioral Healthcare, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Consumer Credit Counseling Service provide services for the whole family from children through older adults. Through Behavorial Healthcare we offer counseling for individuals, families, substance abuse, anger management and parenting on a sliding scale so that the clients who need our guidance are able to afford it. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-to-one mentoring, at no fee to the family, matching  boys & girls ages 6-12 with a caring adult. All volunteers and matches are screened and are provided with professional support. Consumer Credit Counseling is HUD approved and offers credit counseling, foreclosure prevention and bankruptcy prevention. Through this program we are able to help keep families in their homes.
