Houston Can Academy is one of ten charter schools operated by Texans Can Academies for students seeking a non-traditional opportunity to earn a high school diploma. Houston Can Academy is dedicated to graduating thinkers and leaders of tomorrow.

Many young people struggle with the transition from childhood to adulthood. Teenagers who are at-risk and economically disadvantaged often lack support and guidance from parents and family members. Many Houston Can Academy students are the first in their families to graduate from high school. To help students make educated decisions, high schools must take an active role in guiding students on a path to success and economic independence. To do that, Houston Can Academy offers on-site college and career counseling through our community partnership with Ready To Work. This is just one of many community partnerships that students enjoy.

Our high schools use a unique system of relationship based education and training to combat the ever-increasing dropout problem in our state.  Our specialized curriculum increases the number of graduates and provides a positive social and economic impact on our communities.
