Kaiser High School Catamount Pride Marching Band and Color Guard
We are dedicated to providing competitive, and enriching educational experiences that will impact our students for a lifetime.
The Kaiser High School Catamount Pride Marching Band and Color Guard Booster Club is a non-profit organization, comprised of dedicated volunteer parents and family members of enrolled students. These parents are in charge of all kinds of regular major support from managing the finances, events, helping members during tireless Competitions, and fundraising. Our Band and Color Guard consists of approximately 175+ very hardworking students, and is ranked in the top five of parade bands in Southern California.
In the Academic arena, our students hold the highest GPA’s of any organization on campus. Our School is proud to be selected as premier band in the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade. (High Honor) . In order for our students to continue their great success, we are asking for your assistance. Although the students and parents are involved in many fundraising activities through-out the year, there exists a need for us to turn to our business owners and community members such as you for financial support or product donations. Our projected total Expenses for 2018-2019 will exceed last year’s $85,700.00. That included Transportation fees of $55,000.00 to all of the Tournaments/Competitions and Parades we enter for last year. The rest of the expenses were comprised from musical supplies, Instrument Repairs, Sheet Music & Accessories, Instrumental Supplement, Entry Fees, Drill /music writer’s fees, Band and Guard Camp Instruction, Clinicians, Color Guard/Drum line show Entry Fees, color Guard Parade/ Winter Guard Choreography, Competition fees, Purchase and Maintenance of Uniforms, Props, Cases of Water for Students to drink during Competitions, and Food to furnish our concession stand during the Home Football Games at Kaiser High School which we use as a fundraiser during football season. This year we have added the LA County Fair, and The Tournament of Rose’s Parade to our already long list of competitions/ Parades. We are committed to supporting our students, and we take great pride in the accomplishments of our students.
The Henry J. Kaiser High School Catamount Pride Marching Band and Color Guard Booster Organization Volunteers and Students appreciate your support.
