We currently run 20 programs in two languages, across eight jurisdictions in the DC Metro and Baltimore areas.  Our after-school civic engagement programs and profession internship program help bridge the gap for low-income, immigrant youth when they arrive in the U.S.  They become more involved in their communities through community service opportunities and field trips to local landmarks and universities.  They also learn how they can access higher education opportunities, scholarships and employment.  As part of our programs, youth hear from influential guest speakers who are often immigrants themselves, who show youth that they too can make their American Dream a reality.
