Rosie's Birthday Club
Rosie’s Birthday Club’s mission is to celebrate a child’s special day! Our goal is to provide and deliver a present and a once a month party to children in the Rockford area, who may otherwise not receive a gift or be recognized on their birthday. O
Rosie's Birthday Club is two years old and has already celebrated over 600 birthdays. We are presently at two Boys and Girls Clubs and ROCKHOUSE KIDS in Rockford. Our immediate goal is to serve all 7 Boys and Girls Clubs and continue our mission from there. Rockford, Illinois is #1 in child poverty in the state so there is a monumental task ahead for us to serve thousands more. We have found that it is the recognition and not simply the present that makes our youth feel special. Our once a month parties for the chldren are put on by local youth groups who design the games, face paint, help the children decorate their birthday hats, and serve our wonderful birthday cake!
