My husband and I started our Team in 2011 in memory of our son Aidan who passed away in 2010 due to a fatal kidney defect. We found out about his condition midway through my pregnancy, that Aidan, although healthy inside my womb, would not survive birth. We chose to continue his life for as long as God and my body would allow and not abort. Aidan was born on July 27th and that day was the most wonderful and heartbreaking day of my life. On that day we made promises to our son, that we would forever honor him through works and acts in his name; that we would make him proud to call us his mommy and daddy. Since 2011 we have made it our mission to support children's charities who strive to make our children healthier and happier. We acquire our funds through grassroots fundraising, hosting happy hours, parties/galas and golf tournaments.

Our Flagship Charity is the March of Dimes with over 90% of our funds going to that organization. The other 10% goes to organizations such as Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, Children's Hospital and St. Jude's among others. All funds donated/acquired go 100% to charity. We all have careers and day jobs outside of Team Running for Aidan so our involvement is run on pure passion and drive to bring love to a world which so desperately needs it.
